Ride Your Bike With Hopworks on Saturday

Hopworks Bike to Pub Ride with Hop in the Saddle and Velo Cult 

Saturday, June 15 – 5 – 8 pm – Ride Leaves BikeBar at 5:45

Hop in the Saddle with the authors of Hop in the Saddle and take a tour of North and NE PDX beer hot spots. We’ll rally up at the back patio of BikeBar ( 3947 N. Williams), grab a can of ice cold HUB beer and We’ll find a stop or two along the way and wrap up at Velo Cult in Hollywood for post-ride refreshments.

5:00 – 5:45 – Rally up at back patio of Hopworks BikeBar – Cans of organic HUB Lager, Hopworks IPA and Rise Up Red available on the patio.

5:45 – 6:00 – Ride from BikeBar to Hop & Vine – 1914 North Killingsworth Street

6:00 – 6:30 – Hop & Vine – Grab a cold beer at one of the best bar and bottle shop’s in town.

6:30 – 7:00 – Ride from Hop & Vine to 15th Ave. Hophouse – 1517 NE Brazee St.

7:00 – 7:30 – 15th Ave. Hophouse – How well do you know your Portland beers?  The Hophouse is hosting PDX BEER BRÄUL where you’ll have the chance to show off your beer knowledge in a blind tasting competition, featuring beers from HUB and several other breweries in town. For $10, you can sign up for this competition, by yourself or with a cohort, and see how well you know your Portland beers. Each six beer-flight will have a corresponding list, and you’ll have to match each of the six beers to a particular brewery/beer.

7:30 – 8:00 – Ride from 15th Avenue to Velo Cult – 1969 NE 42nd Ave.

8:00 – ??? – Velo Cult  – Post Ride Wrap up Party – Cool raffle prizes from Hopworks including an Ace of Spades bike jersey and a 40 oz. insulated stainless steel growler.
