Video From The Icelandic Beer Festival

On March 1st, Iceland celebrated the repeal of beer prohibition with the Icelandic Beer Festival. The repeal only dates back to 1989! To celebrate, the host venue, Kex Hostel in Reykjavík, invited Hopworks to pour beer at the event. We poured Hopworks IPA, Rise Up Red IRA, and Motherland Russian Imperial Stout. The festival was a ton of fun, and Kex Hostel is world-class. During our visit we also got to meet the US Ambassador of Iceland, we ate at a Chuck Norris Bar & Grill, visited Mikkeller & Friends in Reykjavík, and got to do some ice climbing on Svinafellsjokull Glacier.
